Dr. Zoya Brumberg-Kraus was a Visiting Scholar Panel Participant at the Berkeley/Stanford Symposium at the Arts Research Center on April 7, 2018.
Dr. Zoya Brumberg-Kraus is a scholar-writer and editor located in the Detroit Metro Area. She holds a PhD in American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin, an MA in Visual and Critical Studies from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and a BA in Art Studio from Mount Holyoke College. In 2023-24, Brumberg-Kraus was a Research Fellow at the Frankel Center for Advanced Judaic Studies for the theme year Jewish Visual Cultures.
She writes for specialized and general audiences and have been published in Buildings and Landscapes, SCA Roadside journal, SAIC Magazine, Writing From Below, and on a number of blogs and websites. Brumberg-Kraus have been featured on the podcasts Red Library, Subjective Conditions, and Frankely Judaic.
In their free time, Brumberg-Kraus is a dancer, cinephile, and amateur chef. She loves road trips and other travel adventures.
