Jason Fritz

Job title:
2013 ARC Fellow
Bio/CV:

Jason Fritz is an interdisciplinary artist whose work shuttles between performance, film, installation, and disaster. Originally from Detroit, now living and working in San Francisco, Fritz’s work is heavily in conversation with the histories of the queer future and representation through documentation. He holds an MFA can in the Department of Art Practice at UC Berkeley. His work focuses on the idea of transformation, the ability of individuals to transform their own identities, the transformative potential of objects and environments, and how transformation is packaged and sold by the self-help industry and healthcare industrial complex.

Jason was an ARC Fellow in Spring 2013 - he was chosen in the Graduate Fellow category.
