She holds a B.A. from Vassar College in Science, Technology, and Society as well as minors in both Dance Performance and Mathematics. Laurie Macfee (she/her) is a poet, artist, art administrator, and educator. She joined the Arts Research Center in 2018 and was named Associate Director in 2021; she manages all programs and day-to-day operations of the center. Eva Whitney is a graduate from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in comparative literature. Born and raised in San Francisco, she attended Ruth Asawa School of the Arts for creative writing and has been immersed in the city’s art scene her entire life. Joanna Wong (she/her) is a UC Berkeley Architecture student, bay area native, designer, and art enthusiast. Prior to joining UC Berkeley and ARC, Joanna has been an architecture intern, UX/graphic design intern, and freelance tutor; she has also recieved her User Experience Design Certificate at Skyline College. With great passion and admiration for art, Joanna enjoys photography, video editing, and sketching. In her free time, she visits museums, drawing inspiration from art and structural pieces.
