Bio/CV:
John Gromada is a multi-award winning, pioneering sound designer and composer, with a career spannning more than three decades. He has composed scores for 40+ critically acclaimed Broadway productions and hundreds off- Broadway and at major regional theatres across the nation and abroad. Highly sought as a collaborator for sound designs that combine original music, abstract sound, and found music to support detailed narratives, Gromada was nominated for a Tony Award for his score and sound design for the Trip to Bountiful, starring Cicely Tyson. Recipient of three Drama Desk Awards, the Obie, Lortel and Henry Hewes Awards, and an NEA Opera Music Theatre fellowship.
