It’s everything a writer needs: free food, sympathetic friends, and a kick in the pants to submit your work for publication! BYOL (bring your own laptop) and a piece or two you’d like to publish –– we’ll supply the rest!

Once a month, get together for mocktails, snacks, and fellow scribes to launch your best writing into the Universe. Party starts with a 10-minute tutorial on how to use Submittable and how to find good places to pitch your work. Then it’s down to business submitting!
Support the ARC’s research mission by filling out a 45-second report of your submission tally (and results) and how it feels to be a writer. Party ends with free swag. Prizes will be awarded through the semester for First Submission, Most Submissions, Most Rejections, & Random Good Fortune.
