UC Berkeley’s Fall Arts and Design Showcase: Bringing Talent into Focus

From November 29 through December 7, 2016, students enrolled in arts and design courses all across the UC Berkeley campus will display a diverse array of final projects in dozens of presentations, exhibitions, performances, and design reviews. Celebrate the accomplishments of Berkeley’s talented students in Architecture, Fine Art, Music, Dance, New Media, Theater, and Design Engineering. Students will be on hand to discuss their work in locations around the university. Most events are free and open to the public.

Experience student projects from College of Environmental Design in courses such as “Visual Representation And Drawing” and “Architecture & Urbanism Design Studio.” Visit the Art Practice Department Senior Thesis Exhibition to see outstanding undergraduate work.  Learn about new media collaborations from units like Berkeley Center for New Media and School of Information in courses such as “Theory and Practice of Tangible User Interfaces.” Listen to the Department of Music “Holiday Chorus Concert” and Symphony Orchestra presentations. Delight in new works by emerging choreographers Theater, Dance and Performance Studies and in new compositions from Center for New Music and Audio Technologies.
